- London –
The only time India may play in the country’s capital would be if the team for the final showdown of the ICC Cricket World Cup, 2019. Apart from visiting Lord’s – the venue for the final – there is a bevy of things to see and do in England’s capital. The Buckingham Palace should be at the top of the list, which is home to the Queen of England. Westminster Abbey is another highly recommended place to visit. If you are a Potterhead, King’s Cross station is where you would find the famous ‘Platform ¾’. If you are a Sherlock Holmes fan, you would want to visit for the cult 221B Baker Street as well as the Sherlock Holmes Museum. If you happen to be a shopaholic, there is Oxford Street.
